Biography
At present, I am a perinatal mental health clinical lead across five boroughs in south-west London. I was instrumental in setting up a newly expanded service starting with two staff members and growing to the current 30 multi-disciplinary team members.
I have worked in perinatal mental health for over six years. Through my experience, I have developed my expertise in this area and have a sound, evidence-based scope of knowledge.
I was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2017, which enabled me to study the change in couples' relationships when having a baby. I travelled to Australia and the USA to meet with academics and researchers in the field to draw upon their work and translate my findings back to the UK.
This was a very proud experience and achievement for me – I fully immersed myself in learning from the global expertise and knowledge.
