I work as a content writer designing maths content for use in schools on an online platform.
My Fellowship gave me the opportunity to look at approaches to problem-solving in Japan and Australia. I was keen to find ways that students could develop reasoning skills, independence and metacognition.
Since my Fellowship I have provided in-school CPD (continuing professional development) to help teachers design quality content and develop a classroom ethos that fosters independent enquiry. I have also been honoured to sit on the Fellowship interview panel for the Education theme.
