I am a children's rights lawyer and I currently work as the Head of the Children's Rights Advice Service at Article 39 and as a legal consultant at Coram BAAF. Having qualified as a solicitor at Just for Kids Law in January 2020, my career has been anchored in a profound commitment to advocating for children's rights, with special emphasis on youth justice and community care.
My Fellowship focuses on a crucial area of children's rights: improving access to social care records for individuals with care experience. This cause holds deep personal and professional significance for me. With the Fellowship's support, I will be travelling to Australia to observe different approaches to addressing shared challenges in social care and, hopefully, to bring back new insights applicable to the context in England and Wales.
I strongly believe in the power of collective action. I am eager to connect with other professionals and organisations who share my passion for children's rights. Together, I believe we can create a tangible impact, influencing policies and making the care system more responsive to the needs of those who have experienced it.
