Biography
I am an environmental advocate, researcher and consultant. I hold an MSc in Environmental Governance from the University of Oxford and a BA in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Manchester.
My Fellowship is about climate change, environment and resources, racial equity, diversity and inclusion, education and skills, economy and enterprise.
My vision is an environmental movement that reflects the diversity of communities it serves, recognising economic, social and environmental justice as interlinked. Coming from a marginalised background myself, I have often felt the gap in representation within the environmental sector and I am passionate about bridging this divide.
Through my Fellowship, I am dedicated to creating engaging educational resources that raise awareness about environmental issues while providing skill-building opportunities for people of colour to actively contribute to and lead in this sector. I hope to collaborate closely with environmental organisations to adopt more inclusive practices in hiring and business operations that foster a more representative and equitable green economy.
