Biography
I am an Associate Professor of Economics at King's College London. My research focuses on using technology to empower people to find solutions to conflict. During my Fellowship, I will design an educational programme delivered through immersive virtual reality (VR) to foster inclusivity and conflict resolution skills in both youths and adults.
My interest in these issues stems from a decade of dedicated research into the behavioural implications of violence among adults and children in conflict-affected areas.
Through the research supported by this Fellowship, I aim to enhance existing inclusion educational programmes with innovative, VR-based interventions that are not only effective but also scalable and applicable in resource-limited contexts and situations where inter-group contact is limited.
