Biography
I work in systems change and innovation, consulting various foundations on experimental ways to bring young experts by experience to the forefront of decision-making, strategy development and funding.
My Fellowship focuses on mainstreaming forest gardens in urban areas and beyond. These gardens mimic natural ecosystems, providing diverse, low-input and climate-resilient food sources, increasing biodiversity and serving as community hubs.
Passionate about blending community wellbeing, ecological sustainability and economic development, I aim to explore the integration of forest gardens into a wide range of spaces. Through my Fellowship, I aspire to conduct research that inspires farmers, landowners, organisations, funders, policymakers and networks to invest in this practice while building a network to share good practice and expertise on this topic. Ultimately, I seek to contribute to a better understanding of sustainable land use, paving the way for healthier, more resilient communities in the UK and internationally.
