Biography
I am the Organisational Development Lead at Kitty's Launderette, a worker-community co-operative in North Liverpool. We work to tackle social isolation, hygiene and fuel poverty and contribute to a more resilient local economy by creating inclusive, Real Living Wage jobs.
The purpose of my Fellowship is to learn from a range of worker and social co-operatives and co-operative networks, specifically in the laundry and cleaning sector. I will then bring back this knowledge to inform both how Kitty's Launderette develops and to contribute to a wider conversation about really inclusive, sustainable community wealth building in the UK.
