Biography

I am a multi-award-winning garden designer and content creator. My work focuses on how to maximise small spaces by turning grey areas in towns and cities green, from balconies and patios to alleyways. My goal is to travel across Europe and Asia to understand how to implement policies, green infrastructure and better planting to improve urban residents' access to greenspaces.

As someone who struggles with mental health, gardening on my 18th-floor balcony became one of my outlets to help manage my mental health and resulted in a career change. I believe that all urban residents should have access to greenspaces and that developers and local authorities need to do more to provide those spaces. I intend to travel to Singapore and China to learn about the policies, green infrastructure, public transport and community gardening programmes as well as to understand the planting plans of the smaller green projects in Spain and Italy.
