Biography
I am a freelance consultant, working primarily with non-profit and public sector organisations. My current work has a strong focus on digital healthcare in the NHS.
Increasingly, digital healthcare is the main way in which patients can access the information and services that they need. Digital health technologies have the potential to improve access, increase patient choice and reduce burdens on the health system. However, they also may inadvertently widen or entrench existing health inequalities, especially for minority groups who face barriers in accessing health services and information online.
My Fellowship aims to identify best practices in designing and implementing digital healthcare technology from leaders across Europe and the USA. I hope to share this within the NHS and influence how digital healthtech is commissioned in the future.
