Exploring education – entertainment
I am a creative producer and programme director who designs and delivers global literary initiatives. I create programmes within institutions, set up and deliver targeted projects and facilitate creative partnerships. My main focus currently is as founder and Director of Untold: Write Afghanistan, a development programme for writers in areas of conflict and post-conflict. I am also a trustee of the BOCAS Lit Fest in Trinidad and Vital Xposure Theatre in London.
My Fellowship was about finding new ways to platform marginalised voices through audio and music. My current work is driven by creating opportunities for creative writers in areas of the world where there is little or no creative infrastructure and contributing to the building of such structures locally.
