I'm a chartered accountant, mountain leader and the founder of award-winning social enterprise Inspire Alpine. I reached the summit of Everest in 2018 and have since spoken at over 200 schools across the UK to inspire more than 30,000 young people to raise their aspirations. I was awarded a Fellowship in 2010 to lead an expedition to document Papua New Guinea's few remaining tropical glaciers, and attempt to climb the country's three highest peaks.

I dream of a world where all young people have the opportunity to succeed. At Inspire Alpine, our social mission is to help close the attainment gap faced by disadvantaged young people. We offer free inspirational talks and purposeful outdoor adventures to young people in deprived areas to help raise aspirations and build confidence and resilience. We reinvest the majority of retained profits to achieve our social objectives.
