Biography
I am the Prevention and Reuse Manager at Zero Waste Scotland with a role in developing large-scale reuse activity in Scotland. I am passionate about community reuse and social enterprise business models and founded a children's goods reuse social enterprise in 2012. This has given me a unique perspective of the multiple benefits that reuse can bring and how it can support the transition to a wellbeing economy.
My Fellowship will allow me to see reuse enterprises at a much larger scale than we currently have in Scotland. I will learn more about how social enterprises address climate change and consumer behaviour, while delivering on Community Wealth Building (CWB) economic principles. I plan to visit cities where CWB has been adopted and learn from both the city and the community perspectives.
