Biography
I'm passionate about travel and about personal safety.
I completed my Fellowship, entitled Soloing the Bolivian Inca Route, to prove that it is safe for women to travel solo in remote parts of the world and have continued to live that ethos ever since.
I am a qualified self-defence instructor and have been teaching for over 20 years. I am also one of the world's leading motorcycle adventurers, having taken to two wheels shortly after my Fellowship. I have crossed every continent by bike (a 1992 BMW R80 GS), and am also a freelance motorbike tour guide specialising in leading groups on motorbikes through Asia, Africa and Latin America.
I am a freelance trainer, teaching personal safety and self-defence to a wide range of people and organisations.
