Biography

I am the Suicide Prevention Programme Manager for Kent and Medway.

My Fellowship will examine how to reduce the risk of suicides among people impacted by domestic abuse (both victims and perpetrators). My initial research locally shows that approximately 30% of suicides have been impacted by domestic abuse and if that is replicated nationally it would equate to over 1,500 lives lost each year.

I am hoping to identify and learn from global best practice in this area and bring that home to influence both national policy as well as local, front-line delivery.
