Palliative Care Across Continents - Gerard Leddy

Gerard Leddy will speak at a webinar hosted by the All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care, Palliative Care Across Continents: Comparable & Contrasting Palliative Care Observations from Northern Ireland to Queensland. He will share learning from his Churchill Fellowship research in Queensland, highlighting practical learning for palliative care practice in the UK and Ireland.

Social & Therapeutic Horticulture Webinar - Fi Brown

Fi Brown will deliver the Chartered Institute of Horticulture’s Social and Therapeutic Horticulture webinar, Mental Health and Wellbeing of Unpaid Carers through Social and Therapeutic Horticulture. Drawing on her Churchill Fellowship research, Fi will share findings on how horticulture can support the mental health and wellbeing of unpaid carers.

The webinar is free for members and £5 for non-members.

Katy Dorman will present a workshop, Learning from Australia: Engaging Employers in Apprenticeship and Pre-Apprenticeship Programmes, at the Apprenticeships & Training Conference 2026. Her session will share learning from intermediary organisations in Australia, drawing on the first of her Churchill Fellowship research trips.

CORNWALLIS CLOTH - Tony Thompson

Tony Thompson's CORNWALLIS CLOTH, a powerful new film installation reframing narratives of war and uncovering untold stories of British Caribbean lives during the Second World War, premiered on 11 October at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich. Blending sound, performance, and archive, the immersive work explores themes of loyalty, freedom, and post-colonial identity, and is expected to run until late 2026.
