Stephen Watkins held a workshop at the Royal College of Psychiatrists 2025 International Congress focused on the treatment gap in eating disorders.
The session addressed how policy developments and an integrated public mental health approach could bridge the significant treatment gap in UK healthcare, where only around 2% of condition prevalence is addressed annually.
Stephen presented insights from his Churchill Fellowship, showcasing the work done in Australia, Sweden, and New Zealand to improve eating disorder treatment.
