Mental health services for marginalised women

John Harrison (CF 2019), founder of Solidarity Farm CIC, has been awarded a Shackleton Foundation grant.
Solidarity Farm was initiated with the support of one of the Fellowship's Activate grants, which provided funding for John to develop a farm-based social enterprise in north Northumberland. Solidarity Farm partners with schools and organisations working with vulnerable children and young people, using farming practices and the natural environment to create safe learning environments where trust and individual transformation can occur.
The Shackleton Leadership Award will support Solidarity Farm's growth, enabling it to offer more programmes for young people at risk of exclusion from education and to build a community of inspiring leaders.
