Leisa Nichols-Drew (CF 2018) presented at the International Association of Forensic Sciences symposium in Sofia, Bulgaria, sharing how research from her Churchill Fellowship has informed policy and practice aimed at reducing knife harm.
Her presentation traced the development of safer knife research from international learning in Australia and Canada through to policy change in the UK, including the adoption of safer knives at De Montfort University and wider work through the Lets Be Blunt campaign.
