Mental health services for marginalised women
By Geraldine Esdaille,
Occupational therapist Tamsin Longley (CF 2018) has been interviewed on the BBC, and in the Telegraph and on Shine Cancer Support podcast, about a pilot project she has been leading at the Royal Marsden Hospital. The project is called Emerging from the Haze and offers cognitive rehabilitation for cancer patients. It is the first of its kind in the UK, based on a US model that Tamsin that witnessed on her Fellowship. Twelve groups have successfully completed the course since April 2021.
