October 2024 Fellows' update: Cas Holmes

Cas Holmes has co-authored the book Soulful Stitch with Deena Beverley.

The book documents a wide range of stitched responses to both personal and global crises, offering invaluable advice for textile artists to develop their practice during challenging times. It explores the healing power of stitch, practical ways to continue creating amidst life changes, and how to use found objects and repurposed materials to add emotional depth to one’s work.

The book is illustrated with work from both authors, along with contributions from other textile artists around the world.
